Frequently Asked Questions about Subnovii

The most popular areas are around the eyes (both upper and lower lids), the forehead, jawline, décolleté and neck. Subnovii can target very specific areas of concern, but your provider may also discuss combining other aesthetic treatments depending on what you are looking to achieve.

Talk to your provider about whether a treatment with Subnovii is right for you. Some skin types may be at risk of post-procedure pigmentation issues, so it is important to speak with one of our licensed providers before scheduling your treatment.

The plasma device creates instant scabbed wounds on the skin that may take 5 – 10 days to fall off. These are noticeable scabs that look like dark brown dots on your skin. The scabs are a natural protective barrier to the amazing results happening below the skin. There is minimal risk of side effects besides some swelling that may occur based on the sensitivity of the area that was treated. Your skin may feel tight and itchy as the scabs fall off, and you are left with small pink spots. This is the renewed skin, and the redness will progressively fade.

Each patient will receive specifically formulated post-care products and instructions to keep the area dry to help with the healing process. It is important to use sun protection long after your treatment to maintain your results.
